BLUE CAVE, ISLAND BIŠEVO
Beautiful cave is painted blue with silver, it continually attracts tourists and curious visitors.
Blue Cave (Blue Grotto) is located in a small cove Balun. In 1884. Baron Eugen von Ransonet described it and painted. At his suggestion the entrance to the cave was enlarged, making it accessible to everyone. The cave has two openings, one smaller, the one artificially deepened, through which boats can pass. The second is much wider on the south side of the cave, below sea level. Through this hole sunlight penetrates under water. This beauty is to be experienced.
