Morning drive through Karlovac and continue through Gorski Kotar to village Lokve and cave Lokvarka. Continue driving through Gornje Jelenje and forward along the gravel road to the crossing Cajtige. Take s hiking trail (approximately 1 h) to the mountain lodge at Risnjak summit (Schlosser home) located at the foot of Veliki Risnjak, the highest peak Risnjak (1528 m). Take a lunch and a rest. The second day we suggest a full day tour of the island of Krk. Rijeka City offers plenty of content but we recommend the Maritime and History Museum, which is a beautiful building, Governor's Palace, it keeps a large part of the s history and development of navigation and is unavoidable stop on tour of the city.
