It is over 600 years. The first written mention of tuheljskoj parish is located in the instrument of Apostolic Court in Rome on 21 listopada 1402nd year. In it, Judge Adam Usk Tuhlju states that there is a "parish church of St. Mary Tuheljske with a steeple, bell, baptistery and cemetery." The oldest part of the parish church still has the characteristics of contem-porary Gothic architecture. Consecrated by the Bishop of Zagreb Peter Petretić and ordered her to be "dedicated" is celebrated the second Sunday after Easter. After the last renovation of the church was blessed by the same archbishop of Zagreb, Msgr. Bozanic 23.09.2001. year. On one of the inner walls of the church is a large bronze crucifix, a gift from the sculptor Anthony Augustinčić his pastor friend Marcel Novak.
