
GRADSKI MUZEJ, SENJ
It is located in the palace of the family Vukasovic, one of the most influential and respected noble families of Senj.
It was built in Gothic - Renaissance style in the 14./15. century and is the ultimate object of secular architecture. The museum was founded in 1962. In the museum are decorated following collections: archaeological and hydro, coin collection, a collection of Glagolitic script and Glagolitic printing business, a collection of weapons and military equipment, a collection of more recent history of Senj, ethnographic collection. The museum collaborates with numerous scientific and cultural institutions in Croatia and Europe, and takes care of the entire cultural heritage of the city and surrounding areas.
