Šibenik museum founded in the 20th prosinca 1925th The occasion of the thousandth anniversary of the Croatian kingdom, located in the former Prince's palace near the cathedral. City Museum is a museum complex type, consisting of archaeological, cultural, historical and ethnographic department. Its activity is collecting, storing, processing and presentation of cultural and historical heritage of Sibenik region in its collections, the museum preserves many cases significant value for studying the history of Sibenik from the earliest times to the present day.
