OAK GLEŽNJAK

Oak Galženjak is a natural monument.

Sessile oak "Galženjak" (German galgen - gallows) - Natural Monument, located on the historically-instructive path "Kamenjak", the eponymous hill in the woods Kamenjak. According to legend, the oak puntari captured were hanged after the Battle of Stubicke Spa 09th veljače 1573rd year, which ended in the blood of a great peasant uprising led by Gubec.
