PLIŠ MALIŠČAK

The site is bordered by streams and Velicanka Stražemanka, located on shallow soils and has numerous sub-Mediterranean plants.

The southern slopes of Papuk - Pliš and Mališćak, the most interesting botanical area of the Nature Park.
The steep slopes, exposed ridges and heads, at an altitude of 350-600 m, the surface of the protruding rock dolomite. In this area, which is always sunny and humidity without significant natural growth of a mature forest of black oak and ash with occasional Hornbeam, Cherry, chestnut, beech and pine. Because of the collapse of the terrain and thick bush terrain and impassable in places and among underbrush occurring rocky oasis. Sunlight, shallow soil and the availability of heavy driest terrain enabled the conditions for the survival of rare and exotic flora of the Nature Park. At Plush and Mališčak inhabit most protected species in Papuk.
