Ethnographic Museum is an ethnographic museum specialist. Founded in 1919. The incentive to Salamon Berger, textile merchant and industrialist, originally from Slovakia, who left the museum one of the first and largest collections of folk costumes and textiles. The museum now has about 80 thousand items. Included is mainly ethnographic Croatian heritage, presented in two main subjects: Croatian folk costumes and selected items of folk art and handicrafts, and the basic sectors of the economy and national handicrafts.
The museum is housed in the Art Nouveau building of the former Trades Mažuranićevo home in Zagreb's Square.
