Brdovec Museum was founded in 1973. at the National University in Zapresic, as a heritage museum that covers the territory of the former municipalitiy (now the territory of the city divided into Zap five municipalities). The museum then explores and collects objects that are part of the cultural heritage of this region. Holdings are divided into collections of: archeology, ethnography and culture - history.
