In his hometown he finished high school and graduated in art history and comparative literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb in 1967. He was curator of the City Museum of Bjelovar, one of the founders of Matrix Croatian Bjelovar Branch, Secretary of the Publishing Board and editor of the newsletter "Rusan". Anthology poem "When I say your name," first published in "Croatian weekly", 1971., Then the first issue of "Rusan" media branch of Matrix Croatian Bjelovar.
