The permanent exhibition at the Ethnological Department of the Museum in Djakovo, size 124 square meters, is located on the ground floor, to the right of the main entrance. Ethnological material is presented in nine separate but interconnected spatial units so that visitors allowed spin. Ethnological objects in the permanent exhibition shows everyday and holidays Đakovština Croatian peasants in the period since the seventies of the 19th to the thirties of 20th century. Most of the ethnological collections are textiles and clothing, which are the backbone and links to view selected scenes. The first thematic unit displays made textiles, traditional textiles, basic male and female attire and decorate. The next area is shown girlish procession called ljeljas associated with the feast of Pentecost. Major life custom, bridal, is depicted in the room where the bride dresses with the help of an older woman. Other wedding events are shown photographs and decorative items. Popular piety and funeral customs are separate entities. Exposed reconstructed wooden grave crosses, female plugged with distaff and spindle, and the men plugged with halberds and maces, which were to the fifties of the last century marked graves in Gorjani. In the following two areas are shown in the two most important annual tradition.
