It tastes bitter, and her soft shoots are perfect for preparing the eggs. Different from Dalmatia, where the asparagus is, generally, prepared salad (asparagus with boiled eggs), in Istria are accustomed scrambled eggs with asparagus. Asparagus tips or bljušća (Tamus munis) we make in olive oil until they become soft and then add the scrambled eggs, salt and pepper.
