The legend of Lady of Krasno originates from 1219. "In the woods of Krasno, shepherds grazed their flocks. One day they saw some sort of miraculous stump flower and flower picture of the Mother of God. Shepards took the flower and brought it into Krasno field, where since ancient times there was a chapel. But suddenly transferred flower disappeared, and shepherds again found it at same tree stump in the woods. Seeing this miracle people build a chapel in the woods in honor of the Mother of God, and above the stump, where the flower appeared, built an altar. "
