Roasted almond part of the Dalmatian tradition. The Romans were brought as gifts to friends candied almonds, and weddings are the bride and groom threw almonds as a fertility symbol. In Dubrovnik area almonds and almond arancini are among the delicacies that can be found on any holiday table.
