Every Saturday, until the end of the summer in Zagreb's Maksimir (on the meadow at the Second Lake - at Kamen Seat), from 10am to 5pm, Zagreb's picnic is organized, which turns a favorite park into a green place.

Park Maksimir, one of the 14 most beautiful parks in Europe, was once called the Jurjaves, and in the Jurjaves Album - one of the first publications on the park, the park's purpose is "fun, rest, inspiration for art, agriculture and nutrition, with direct emphasis on the beneficial impact of nature on Psycho-physical life of an individual ", and it was precisely on these principles that the Zagreb picnic was designed.

Everyone who loves picnics will be able to treat their company every Saturday with their delicacies in a relaxed atmosphere, and for those who do not arrive to prepare food, a Zagreb picnic basket with Croatian dishes was prepared.
