He is famous for his three books work FLORA DALMATICA, (1842., 1847., 1852.) and amendments (Suplenta) in the three more books (1872., 1877. and posthumously 1882.). He was a regular and honorary member of more than 50 scientific societies, academies, literary associations and top commissions.
