GORAN VIŠNJIĆ

Croatian Hamlet and the American Dr. Luka Kovac are two roles that have marked Višnjić's early career.

Croats are nostalgic and proud of their actors and Americans love them. Visnjic was born in Sibenik in the four-member family.
Always in love with acting he is active in local theater groups. Goran signed in the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb.
Acting skills got him various awards, including Best Actor Orlando.
In 1999. he was called the sexiest import by the 'People' magazine, in the same year the actor in the U.S., appears as Dr. Luka Kovac in the series 'ER', in which he plays the Croatian doctor who lost his family in the war, then emigrated in the United States.
He is married to sculptor Ivana Vrdoljak since 1999. and together they adopted a son whom they named after the poet Tin Ujevic.
He currently lives in Los Angeles but often visits Croatia.
