Trenkovo ​​its name recalls the legendary warrior and Slavonian nobles Francis Baron Trenck (1711th-1749th), which has remained in the memory of the people and that is always proud of Slavonia. For centuries, the present village Trenkovo ​​called Mitrovica, but it was at the request of the villagers 1912th was changed because there was in Croatia in another Mitrovica in Sirmium (today Sremska Mitrovica in Vojvodina).
