As a unique form of mountain built of karst forms, from fifty feet high white steep cliffs and deep ravines covered with impenetrable "eternal snow" White rocks are always attracted visitors. From the Croatian Olympic Centre Bjelolasica to their highest peak, located at 1335 meters above sea level and below which there is a mountain home, ships in 3 to 4 hours walk. The foot of White rocks can be reached by an unpaved road Jasenak-Mrkopalj, from the top to just 45 minutes walk. From base to top is all covered with pines, firs and spruce trees, and flora in the rocks made up of many rarities like edelweiss Kranj or lilies. Because of its exceptional beauty White rocks are declared a natural reserve.
