He learned the craft of wooden shipbuilding in high school in Sibenik. He enrolled to study naval architecture, but he kept there just for 5 months. He graduated from the Academy for Theatre and Film Arts 1972. year. During the study had a first professional role in "Gathering courage" by Eduard Galic. The first engagement was in Comedy Theatre in Zagreb. There he starred in musicals and rock operas, the acting sang and danced. After 18 years it was the actor in the theater in Zagreb Gavella. At the invitation of George Para moved to Zagreb National Theatre, 1994. With Zlatko Vitez founded the troupe rhinoceros 1975. and in the same year was renamed the Histrion. He made 25 films in 10 of them had a major role. He has appeared in 30 TV series. Celebrated the 40th year acting career at the year 2008. He played in 150 theaters premieres. He has won many awards. He married actress Asja Jovanovic 1983., when their daughter Mirna was born. During the war he was a member of the 106. Osijek's Brigade, was in antiaircraft defense and member art brigade.
