He was most popular during 1970s due to his Roko Prč role in the cult series "Our little town", and then the role of Meštar in the series "Big Town".
Boris Dvornik was born on April 16 in 1939. in Split family of lumberjacks. His talent for acting was discovered in childhood while his appearance in children's performances. After training as an electrician he began to be a professional actor. He graduated from the acting school in Novi Sad and later enrolled for a theater academy in Zagreb. Having gained the status of one of the most popular actors in former Yugoslavia, Boris Dvornik mostly worked at the Croatian National Theatre in his hometown of Split.
