
HERMANN BOLLÉ (1845.-1926.)
Hermann Bollé (Cologne, 18 October, 1845 - Zagreb, 17 April 1926.), an Austrian architect.
Since 1872. he studied architecture at the Vienna Academy and also worked in the atelier of the famous Austrian architect Friedrich von Schmidt. In 1875./76. was in Italy where he met Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer and Iso Kršnjavi, his life turned into Croatia. Already 1876th year comes to Đakovo where Friedrich von Schmidt after the death of the architect K. Rosner, took jobs on completion of construction of the Cathedral of St. Djakovo. Peter. Bollé will initially only work out projects for Schmidt Đakovo cathedral, to eventually become independent and part of the project for Djakovo performed by himself.
